"So far everything is going fine and everything working well. Drives smoothly and actually has a decent uptake in speed when you put your foot down. The only odd thing is that the lever for drive and reverse is the opposite to the norm in that you move it forward for reverse and back to go forward. "We were allways going to buy a hybrid as full electric just isn't practical for anything but around town running and nz will never be able to sustain the power if everyone starts plugging into the power. We did a lot of research on hybrids and most of them are running on petrol and the batteries are only charging the electrics. We thought there has to be something better and there is its called E-Power. What this car does is solely run on electric power and all the motor does is charge the batteries. Don't for one minute think they will be sluggish because that's far from the truth and that's in echo mode, wait till you put it in sport as our car has! "I can't recommend our Nissan Note e-Power enough. It's very comfortable and easy to drive with incredibly light steering. And quiet, you won't believe how quiet this vehicle is. I was going to say it's a good compromise between a petrol and an electric engine, but there's no compromise at all, the e-Power is in a class of it's own.
