Driving an electric car is certainly a bit different to a petrol one but taking things one step at a time has enabled a couple of 80 year olds to make the transfer pretty seemlessly and we would just encourage anyone else of a similar age who might be "thinking about it" to give it a go. "This car is a machine. All EVs have incredible strengths and weaknesses. This new Nissan leaf makes it even more apparent. The ease of operation, it's reliability, the perfect handling and drive all on a shoe string electricity budget is amazing. The weaknesses like range, hills etc have diminished in this model.
