"Most, if not all, 2015 VW Polo sold in NZ, whether it’s NZ-new or imported from Japan/Singapore (like the one sold by Nova), are cambelt-driven (engine type is CJZ), so please do your homework by researching about the car as much as possible. Note that you must be sure that you’re researching the same type of engine, because it can be different depending on which country the Polo is sold. Try ALL features that the car has; park sensors, radio, rain sensors, light, etc. Last but not least, before or after you purchase the car, when you know the VIN of the car, check with VW if it’s affected by the ongoing recall programmes. "I bought the VW Polo for my daughter to learn to drive in. I consider this to be a safe, reliable car which is also a bit stylish (great colour!) She is very excited to learn to drive in it but a bit nervous about the stop/start technology.
