  • "It's been 3 weeks now since we bought this car. As a main driver to this phev car, I'm still adjusting myself to get use to it. Drive nicely and quietly when the EV is available, but when the petrol engine kick in, sometimes you notice the engine noise which I'm not sure whether its normal or not , or I'd say, is that the noise that you expect to hear? So far I only use the Eco mode and hasn't try using other option. There are also some other function e.g, AWD, save mode or charge mode that I haven't try yet. So still many things to explore with this car but for now I'm happy driving it on normal road without problem and really hope this would be as reliable car as the people reviewed globally."

  • "So far it's been a good car to drive. Went on a long trip (Christchurch to Nelson via Lewis Pass) and it was more fuel efficient than my old car, but not by heaps ... 15.1km/L with some careful driving. Be aware that the radar cruise feature while very useful does reduce fuel efficiency slightly (it can't anticipate hills and things like that obviously). The electric only range is around 38-40km at town speeds, but be aware the Aircon etc really kills the range (around 25-30km). We have not had to use ICE at all around town (driven about 300 kms so far). Overall, happy with the car."

There is a bit of learning curve with the PHEVs especially the acceleration which you need to balance so that the petrol engine doesn't kick in. One thing I did was changed the info unit to an Android, was well worth it. Adaptive cruise control is a bliss!! Now I am commuting back and forth from work to home for free. Loving it! :)"
