"Great fuel economy if the vehicle has battery life more than 75%. Not a good choice if you drive over 50k on regular commute since the Electric rage will be 30-32Km. "It is nice to drive but if you are looking at the PHEV for fuel economy don't waist your time. If you drive in town only it may work for you. "The fuel economy is what sold us on this vehicle. I have driven it for a week and have not had to put a drop of petrol in it. I’ve probably used less than a quarter of the tank! We are basically operating this car cost free (aside from our finance). Our car has gained a lot of interest from family and friends who now are considering not just a hybrid but a plug in hybrid.
