  • "We've had two of these vehicles now (the first got written off). Things to look for are: battery performance (how long can you drive it in "EV mode" before it beeps at you and turns the engine on, and does it charge while driving), Check for vibrations / clunks while it drives and switches between the petrol engine and the electric motor, this can be a hint the electric drive train is not healthy, the long-term average fuel consumption should be around 18 km / L. Check there aren't any warnings come up on the display as you drive. The engine can be quite loud and rattle things a bit at low RPM - this is normal. We ended up with the higher spec G-Touring version with our second purchase. The larger alloy rims / lower profile tyres make it nicer to drive (even on uneven surfaces). The cruise control is great. The LED lights are waaaay better than the standard ones. Definitely worth getting this version over the standard version if you can find one around the same price."
    — Kristin C - 2009 Toyota Prius G TOURING SELECTION

    — Gisele C - 2009 Toyota Prius 1.8 S Touring
  • "I am happy with my purchase and a proud owner of a Toyota Prius. And I know, I have made the right choice in driving a hybrid car - especially a Toyota Prius for fuel economy and a peace of mind."
    — Allison W - 2009 Toyota Prius G
  • "Love this car, spacious and functional. I can fit a weeks groceries in the boot while my pram is in there. Filling up the tank once every two weeks even though I drive heaps. Great air con! Good safety rating gives me some peace of mind."
    — Monique S - 2009 Toyota Prius Hybrid
